Sorek Plant produces 150 million cubic meters of fresh drinking water per year, it is one of the largest plants in the world.
Palmachim Plant produces 100 million cubic meters of fresh drinking water per year.
These desalination facility uses seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) process providing water to Israel’s national water carrier system
